Music

As a worship leader/songwriter, under my artist name, Leah Chris, my desire is to bring people into the presence of God where only He can change them. I've been leading worship since 2009 and writing music since 2011.

I released my first worship album, "Shaken," in 2015, and my latest release, "Rebirth," is an intimate worship experience, telling the story of a journey from heartache and hurt to healing and hope.

Through music, I seek to create an atmosphere where God can bring healing and deliverance to those who hear it. I live, breathe, and hear the sound of revival for my generation.

I find inspiration from worship artists, such as, Jesus Culture Band, Kim Walker-Smith, Bethel Music Collective, Fearless Bnd (formerly Worth Dying For), and David and Nicole Binion.

Writing & Editing

My experience in writing and editing stems from my love for the written word. Language colors the world with expression and my aim is to use words in a prolific way. I have written and edited for CONTACT Magazine and other publications of Faith Landmarks Ministries, as well as for the Small Business and Email teams of Capital One Financial. I was also the editorial assistant at Kingdom Publishing Group. Most recently, I freelanced for the Richmond Free Press, where I won the 2017 Virginia Press Association award for general news writing.

As an author, I published my first book, "A Life of Worship," in 2010, urging believers to go beyond the courts and enter into the holy of holies where God is calling us to the deep places of a life of worship.
