Guatemala Nerve.2.Serve Missions Trip

Sixty of theROCKhouse youth and young adults (YAM), along with adult workers, went to Guatemala for 10 days of intense ministry. This trip was the most packed, both physically and spiritually speaking. With such a large group, we were able to split into 2 teams, which allowed us to minister in more places. We ministered in a government orphange housing 900 children, from babies to 18 years of age. We also ministered in several schools, villages, and towns. We had the opportunity to be the first missionaries ever to minister in one village of 3000 people where we also had a clothing giveaway to bless the people. We also visisted 55 homes with bags of food that would feed a family of 8 for a week. Our ministry times consisted of games and activities to draw in hundreds of people, followed by our dance and drama presentation to present the Good News of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

The results: 2,113 SALVATIONS; 49 filled with the Holy Spirit; many healings; 240 families personally given over a week's worth of groceries (+ extras left @ Sarah's mission for CCJ to distribute); over 3K pieces of clothing/shoes given away; over 4K Gospel books & 5K tracts (in Spanish) given away; 50 Spanish scripture soccer balls + countless toys, t-shirts & prizes... & new HOPE brought to Guatemala through the LOVE of Jesus!

And now, ministry continues ...
