Suddenly
Your Spirit rushes in like hurricane winds
and Your love rains down upon us.
A heavy downpour of grace floods this place.
You can't resist the call when we seek Your face
The sound rises up through the doorway of Heaven.
It's a sound of desperation, of desire, a demonstration.
So let the rains pour, let the waves crash,
let the winds blow, don't let this storm pass.
We want to be soaked under Your cloud,
drenched by Your glory, for crying out loud.
Let the thunders roar, let the lightning strike,
crack open the Heavens, we'll stand here all night—
Not to wait out the storm, but to wait upon You.
Our hearts are thirsty, Lord, bring the rains, just move.

Clothed in Sin
A perfect Man—
Robed in rags of unrighteousness
Clothed in lust and pride
His feet shod with the wickedness of murder and hate
Girded about His loins with lies
This perfect Man did not deserve to die.
But He was covered with envy and greed
Wearing jealousy on His blood striped back
His side pierced with division
Addictions nailed to His hands
And a crown of idolatry placed upon His head
This sin did not belong to Him.
But He took it from all the world
And wore it for His Father to see
But even His Father turned away from such gross garments
Yet none of this sin could kill Him
For His Blood was clean and pure
He defeated it and destroyed it
And now pours His Blood on you
Changing everything it touches
Transforming as it washes
Behold, even the old has become new

Chains Be Broken
It snuck up on me like the darkness of the night
Stripping me in shame, it demands of me my life
Chained by snares of sin, lusts that entice
Pleasures long gone, life wasted, so now what's the price?
Deceived by schemes, dying from the pain
Lies whispered in my ear, once believed, who's to blame?
Now the penalty is here, the price marked on my head
Should've known from the start, this thing wanted me dead.
I'm a man of this world, world full of sin
Strip me from these chains, make me new again
I want out of this darkness, I want to see the Light
Break out, set me free, I surrender to the Christ
"But wait," comes a cry from a bright intruding Light
"Let him go, for you see, I've already paid the price
Took his place and his sin when I died upon the cross
All his filth and his shame, erased, I paid the cost
You're a man of My heart, My heart full of you
Set free from these chains, I've made all things new
Translated out of darkness into My marvelous light
Grace redeems, makes you clean, I've delivered you this night."
